MemoStick gives newspapers new ad options

MemoStick

Advertisers are looking for impact from printed publications, and as MemoStick labels are demonstrating, nowhere has more impact than the front page

Value for money is always a key concern for advertisers, and never more so than now. Received wisdom is that digital and mobile channels produce inherently higher response rates than plain old paper, but if the experience of some of our clients is anything to go by, print publishers still have weapons in the Armoury with the Memo Stick.

This consists of labels using a glue specially designed so they can be applied to a variety of media, removed without tearing or ink transfer, and reapplied to other surfaces without loss of adhesion.

The technology can be of particular use where these kinds of coupons are concerned, as the labels can be removed from the publication and stuck somewhere for safekeeping – a fridge door perhaps – and then used at a later time.

The label tends to be positioned on a tabloid product on the front page towards bottom right hand corner. This position is near to the point at which the reader turns the page and therefore will not be missed. However it can be placed anywhere down the our side edge of the paper unless when it’s mailfolded and then it would be placed across the top masthead. For more information call Lorraine on 01507 529256.

Other promotions the memo stick can be used for are :-

Promotional events, Coupons, Vouchers, Competitions, BOGOF offers, more brand awareness, and to bring awareness to an advertisement within the paper.

New Muller line gives increased flexibility.

Ever mindful of the need to be able to fulfil every requirement of the print customer, Mortons Print has recently installed a new Muller Martini line.
The new kit collates sections of papers together, stitches, pins and trims in one operation. It also has the capability of folding a flat sheet as a cover on the printed product or fold a tabloid down to a quarter-fold. ‘Customers have high expectations and we are striving to meet the needs of the most discerning publisher,’ commented Production Manager Dean Wilkinson.
