CTP Direct to Plate Technology at Mortons Print Ltd.

Mortons Print is now using the latest in plate systems CTP for their busy plate department. The plate is imaged by green and violet lasers at speeds of 80 plates per hour.
This gives a first generation dot, a faster throughput, excellent registration and a cleaner finished plate with automatic bending at the end of the process eliminating all the previous occurrences from traditional plate making system. Making the final printed paper a far sharper and cleaner product throughout.
