Carpet and flooring retailer Carpetright has used 1Local, the regional press package for national advertisers, for the first time.

Planned by Mediacom, ads have been run in all 71 daily regional titles across the UK.

The booking follows a meeting with the NS earlier this year at which NS head of marketing Justin Fenton briefed Carpetright marketing director Helen Vinken on the power of local media.

Also running in 1Local, which reaches 5.3 million adults, have been ads for Tesco andNational Tyres.
