The Government’s Fire Kills ‘Unsung Heroes’ campaign encouraging fire safety in the home is launching activity on Featurelink in February.
Regional press ads asking people to ensure they have working smoke alarms on every level of their home will run alongside geographically targeted editorial in titles across England from 15 February.
The Fire Kills team said: “Local media in print and digital offers an additional platform for us to reach local communities. Featurelink helps us to deliver targeted local advertising and PR across regional titles, providing an opportunity for increased local reach so that more people can be made aware of the importance of fire safety in the home.”
The Fire Kills’ ‘Unsung Heroes’ campaign ads will feature friendly smoke alarms, using positive tones to reframe people’s relationship with their smoke alarms.
