TELEGRAPH Media Group (TMG) has launched the Telegraph Clearing App in an exclusive relationship with UCAS, for the fourth year in a row.

The app provides a comprehensive list of all clearing opportunities across the UK for those candidates who have not achieved the necessary grades to enter the universities of their choice. It is free to download and is supported by a number of sponsors.

In addition to the app, the Telegraph will be publishing a clearing supplement on 13 August – A-Level results day. There is also a dedicated website for clearing that can be accessed at www.telegraph.co.uk/education/universityeducation/clearing.

TMG head of specialist sales James Lancaster said: “We are enormously proud of the clearing app at TMG, which provides a vital tool to students and parents at a very stressful time of year.

We are delighted that following the success of the app last year we have signed eight sponsors this year and look forward to achieving even more downloads than previous years.”

TMG says that last year the app achieved more than 100,000 downloads and was second only to the Facebook Messenger App in the week commencing 11 August.
